One of the friendly spiders sunning herself (?) on the bloom of a gerbera. Quite accomodating, but the strong evening sun was accompanied by a reasonable breeze which meant plenty of blurred and OOF frames in between a few OK ones.
The spider is an Orb, or Cross spider, incredibly common in the UK (they are the ones that spin the really big intricate webs between the stems and branches of your shrubs and such.
