Upgrading from Acekard 2 on a DS Lite to Acekard 2i on a DSi

As per the title.

A relative had a DS Lite with the Acekard 2. They were devastated after trading in the DS Lite for a DSi and finding out that the Acekard 2 did not work!

Anyway, been a good un, I ordered an Acekard 2i for them and have said I will sort it.

Question...

I have the old Micro SD, I presume that all I need to do is whack the new 4.17 Firmware on the card with the games etc... and plonk into the Acekard 2i.... yes?

I am reading about people using SD cards etc...... but cannot find any info on that?

What do I need to do, you can make a 10 year old very happy later tonight!

as far as i'm aware you just need to change the firmware over as the games and saves should work just fine. Just keep the games folder as is also make a copy on your hdd of the card then if it goes belly up you always have a copy of the games and saves

As far as I am aware it's all ok. Waiting for confirmation... 10 year old kids are bloody scary by the way!!
