Please don't quote me because I have never done it but I THINK :-

Hastle - You have to visit one of the dvla local offices with the paperwork (i have all the paperwork you need)

Cost - its an initial registration fee of around £80

best bet would be to check with DVLA

Section Rules - You must state if you are advertising your items elsewhere, and if it is being put on ebay - do not post in the BST forum.

    Moved to ebay section.

It says in the listing "The only damage is a small area of scratches on the right hand side and broken mirror. (both shown in the pictures)."

50 odd miles is quite a bit of riding on an illegal unregistered/uninsured/untaxed bike on a public highway. Lucky you didn't get caught and there were no injuries from falling off.

Don't imports have to be checked over by VOSA, just like import cars? I know it applies to jap imports anyway.

Might be worth getting it reg'd before trying to sell it, easier to sell then.

Wow, a lot of activity when I wasn't looking

    Yes 91Km / 56Miles.

He rode it up and down our cul de sac every day for a few weeks, loads of round the cones stuff, then one day, rounding one of the cones he slipped on the throttle and slid it down the road.

In answer to how long we have owned it, about a year but its been in the garage for 99% of that because he fell off.

As I understand it, DVLA do not look it over, 99.9% of all vehicles are 'imported' it is type approved and so the paperwork has to be taken to dvla, not the vehicle.

    Hope thats everything
