I use a similar, but more advanced program than this.

In simple terms it gives you access to the SAM and you can manipulate it however you like. Works on every version of Windows as it's Linux based!

I've used [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] one for some years now, piss easy for beginners as well as versatile if you know what you're doing.

Been gradually updated over the years.

    What do you use mate?

I used to use various tools until I discovered Kon-Boot, until this morning it worked without fail. But today I could not enter a windows 7 installation with Kon-Boot, it would load up fine but not remove the password. Ophcrack Vista LiveCD couldn't crack it (I only had room for the free tables on my USB drive though) and PCloginnow wouldn't run off a USB drive (the laptop was a netbook so no CD drive). I ended up using Spotmau PowerSuite 2010 to erase the password and allow access.

I threw away a lot of my discs including the one Sony use in their repair centres to either activate the admin/guest account or remove passwords because Kon-boot was flawless

Has anyone had any joy with win7 with this. I need to bypass admin password on a lappy running win7 to install itunes.

Is it still working? or are there other solutions out there for trying this.

Kon-boot didn't work on a Win7 laptop I tried the other day. Just rebooted at the login point. Could have been a one off, I didn't get in to it much more so I dunno.
