    Default LIttle Green Bug

One thing about this hot weather is that it brings all sorts of bugs out and into your home (I got bitten by some last night )

Anyway, again, haven't a clue on the species but it was about 5mm in length and crawling around the curtain. Capsid maybe?

This was hand held with standard popup flash not diffused.

Nice shot for such a tiny little fella.

Only crtitism would be I would probably crop off a lot of the white on the right though as its a bit distracting being so bright. Only my opinion though, nice detailed shot overall.

    Thanks guys...

heh, Greaseweasle, I'd have to agree with you re. the white to the right. The reason I left it there however is because I've been given CC's in the past which advise me not to center my macro shots and to give more space in the direction the subject is looking

However, how about a crafty rotate and crop?

That works a treat and you've basically met the 'rules' anyway.

The main body of the bug is on the left third, and the right half is only taken up by the antenna which gives space to look into.

Thats a great looking shot now.
