Decent enough price, i picked up a second hand notebook the lg x110 for my daughter the other day, £130 quid.
The prices second hand for these are crashing.
    Great wee machine.

    What is a netbook?
Netbooks are smaller and more portable than notebooks (aka laptops), with screen size typically ranging from 7 inches to 10 inches. They use lower power processors than notebooks, and they do not have a built-in cd/dvd player. Primarily, a netbook is intended for light computer work such as browsing the web, checking email, and doing simple spreadsheets and word processing tasks.

Small but perfectly formed! Sunnyday :: Midlands :: 07/05/2009 :: See all my reviews »

Having purchased very expensive laptops for students and administrator jobs felt I wanted something for my social side. This is perfect. I can e mail, surf and use Windows Messenger with great ease with this notebook. The webcam is great - better quality than a free standing one used on my pc. Worth every penny - telling all my friends about it. Well done Acer and ASDA! Was this review helpful to you? Yes No (Report Inappropriate Review)

I bought this netbook for my 12 yr old son.. I wasn't expecting too much from it. But it's great, gives my laptop a run for it's money.
If you've not used a netbook you need to know that they dont come with a cd rom drive, but you can buy a plug in one for about £30, they are not gaming machines and battery life is shorter. Other than that it does everything that a laptop will only smaller.
This particular model is fab, well priced, quick with lots of memory. I've transferred my huge itunes libary onto it and it hardly noticed.
I first bought the 16GB SSD version of this.. But it was soooo slow that I took it back to the shop as I thought it was faulty. Turned out it wasn't, just v slow. They still, kindly, exchaged it for this model, it was worth paying the extra £30.
Yes, buy this one... Avoid the 16GB SSD like the plague. 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
