Bought these on amazon.co.uk's own store for about £7 last year. Check out the Creative 630p's, they're made in the same factory with a different labling!
I'm so l33t. Ph33r my skillz.
A lot of CX300's are fakes, I would be very wary about buying on playtrade, amazon marketplace or ebay...
Cheers
cant believe there are fake cx300's out there when the originals are so poor to start with
Save up and get something decent. I still love my old shure's and I got some great denons in the airport on the way to ibiza last month. Anything less and you are spoiling what it's all about (the music)

Agreed, when it comes to headphones do not buy cheap! Last pair i brought were sennheiser HD595's for about £150 and they are the tits! After using them cheap head and ear phones are a no go and music just sounds shit when listening to them. Obviously £150 will be a bit steep for many but id say go no lower than £30 for a pair of earphones.
Best to save up and get a good pair that last years than buy cheap and have to replace them in 6 months time.
my first pair of e2c's were £60. The dog chewed them and I replaced them with some e2g's which were on offer at £45 reduced from 65 at the time. I've had them for about 3 years now and love them. I forgot them when I went on holiday last month so picked some denons up in the airport Dixons store for £43 (I think) and theyre pretty good but don't quite have the 'presence' of the shures
I don't think I'd pay 150 for in ear ones (are they head or ear those ?) but £100 is certainly a possibility as I wanted some shure e3's which were £90 and also wouldnt mind trying the £70 bose ones.

Agreed i would probably never pay £150 for a pair again. I was just minted at the time so decided to spalsh the cash. Cant say i regret it as they are superb!
i suggest u get the grado ps1000 ... probably not the cheapest headphones around but worth a look . i bought 1 for my cheap china mp3 player and works great

So any idea if these (op) ARE fake
I'll always stick with my Bose in ear ones. Very very nice sound and cancel out most surrounding sound with no effort!
