yeah you can still play online m8 but it's at your own risk
I'd just get an unchipped one and flash the drive - no benefit from having a chipped 360, unless you buying at a cheap price.
Yes you can still play online but need to check the games check out ok.
Apparently its not chipped but the drive is flashed, comes with 28 games and is HDMI version with 60 gig drive.
how much for
£175.
LOL, it would be a steal at £75.00.
Once the drives flashed do u get any probs with them? Presume u can still play origianls if needed?
cheers guys, I was so tempted as wanted one for years but sold motorbike last night so was gonna get 1 now.
So u reckon buy a new one and then some kind person will help me flash the drive?
yeah get an acrade pack there cheap
Plenty of people here know what they're doing mate. I picked up a second hand arcade for £100 nearly 18 months ago, so you'll get a used one nowadays for much less.
£125 from Tesco's what a bargain, just have to get a HD, work out how to flash drive then find out where to download games from.....
cheers all, i'll be in touch.
speak to prezzy, hes already offered to help ya
hey chrizm, hope you dont mind but im interested in modding my xbox aswell.
but im still unsure. will flashing my drive allow me to go on live? what about updates and stuff will that brick my xbox? sorry for the noob questions.
i have done some research and i have a lite on drive, checked by looking at the drive, its got a u shape space in the tray, i also looked at the wire after opening the faceplate and they are yellow.
so just wondering how hard will it be to get it flashed? of course the only reason i would want to do that is to make back ups of my original games
£175 for a 60GB with loads of games doesn't seem like a bad deal .. I mean, the 60GB drive on its own is like £45-£55, an arcade is £125 at the least etc... Not a huge ripoff at all.
He's dropped his price now to £160, starting to sound a gud deal, dated oct 08 so not that old either.
