Hmm, well cant do that, turns out its a pheonix bios,
anyone know of another program to do them,
wouldnt mind learning more about this bios editing if anyone has any links for tutorials, read a bit about calculating offsets, but that lost me, i need to start from the beginning.
    cheers

Phoenix Bios's can be done. I've done an Acer with no problem...

    I'll investigate for ya,

    [SHOWTOGROUPS="80"]Found this -
    The Request -
-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model: Acer Aspire 5535
    -Bios Revision: 1.04
    -Bios Type: Phoenix
-Bios SLIC : 2.0 at this time, I want to have 2.1 Dell
    -Bios Link: see attached file

    Hi folks
Sorry for snooping in, but Dear Busykid, since the specs 5535 & 5536 are almost same, so is it possible for him to use this Modded BIOS of Acer 5536 instead (which you modded for me)? If yes, then can you please enlighten us about more such models which may use same BIOS so that more people may benefit from your creation?

    Acer 5535 Bios link : http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...LC=en&SC=AAP_2
    AND
    Acer 5536 Bios link : http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...LC=en&SC=AAP_2
    Thanks in advance.

    The 5535 & 5536 discussion -
The BIOS are different but the hardware is same.
So can your modded Bios for 5536 be used on 5535...??

    Yes, that would be fine.
Fella didnt come back moaning, so I guess it worked. I would ask Busykid again just to make sure if I was you.
BUT - You will be doing this at your (or your mates) own risk.

well i have finally managed to create my own slic bios for my foxconn 945g7ma-8ks2h,
the bios was a pheonix award bios, the modding was easy, the flashing was the issue,
my awdflash exe was being a pain, as odd as it may seem, i ended up using a awdflash for asus exe, anyway this is the tool i used, just the same as AMI slic app
