    Default How would i recreate this sort of effect in photoshop?

    i need to know how to do this effect, i was thinking it was a meshing but not sure:


    if you look at the image it has like dots all over it, this makes an image stand out.
    the image im wanting to change is this:




    a guie if possible as the image just above is just an example (the real image im working on is much bigger lol).

    Looks like it's based on using the (horizontal) gradient tool and embossed styling tool mate. Haven't got PS on me PC here so can't check though.

    Can't quite make out what you mean.. but if it's the grid effect.
    Look for VM Tools on the net, it's a plugin known as Visman for PS, available freely
    on the internet.

    Use the grid filter!
    Depending on size of the image your using adjust the grid size to what your happy with,
    then add emboss to the grid.

    image below of the grid effect (also changed grid's blending option to 56% opacity)
