Can anyone shed any light on this fucking anyonning problem

I have wiikey v1 1.9g firmware now to run wii sports resort from disc channel i think i need 1.9s, so i down loaded it ran it hear the sega jingle no video then blue screen, and i have to pull the plug on wii and reboot.
I have tried 6 diffrent various disc's to update the firmware it just wont take it, this happens with the config disc aswell this is the only game that wont run from disc channel.

now the boring bits
Firmware 4.1 wanikoko update
preloader 0.29 (tried enabling/disabling to get it to run) didnt work
Usb loader (it runs wsr)
Neogamma this is how i got wsr to run via the alt.dol method
ciso38 rev 14
Bootmii installed boot2 nand backup (i even downgraded to 3.2 still wont install)
restored nand to current version
Only extra i have installed is cisocorp 3.1 to get softmod from disc channel, although dont see this making any diffrence and did it after trying eveything else.
Anyone help me update my wiikey tried original,hexedited u name it i might of tried it lol help

Well , no help really, but the 1.9s seems to still work on mine, which is the same, firmware wise, except I dont have any of the softmod junk installed.
The only thing I can think of is installing it on a virgin machine (if you can find a pre D2C machine) and upgrading it there, then re-installing it on your heavily modded machine.

well i have tried by downgrading to 3.2 that makes it virgin again afaik
the disc channel picks up the the firmware disc as a gamecube disc but just wont load
Wii sports resort from the disc channel boot's to a black screen (hence 1.9s is needed??) sometimes i get #002 error if i try diffrent things enabled/disabled in preloader like suggested in other guide's lol

Puzzling one this...when you say you have tried 6 different config disks, do you mean 6 different iso's or different media types.

Silly question I guess, but you have got the PAL version of the upgrade disk (assuming your console is PAL) ?

I can put my iso on my webspace for you if you want to try that.

Ok as soon as i ask for help i fucking solve it after 2 weeks

Turns out it was my console video mode i changed it to ntsc from pal in any region changer 1.1
when i changed it back to pal bingo the disc worked although it always worked just could'nyt see it lol

Now after 15 min ealier i have downgraded to 3.0e wii sports resort asked for an update then played from disc channel after 1.9s upgrade, im correct in thinking that WSR needed 1.9s to work from disc channel??.
@tronads well solved but was using pal disc lol ,obviously ntsc conflicted with pal all good now and loaded config disc 1.3 switched on region free again.
Although with preloader it loads everything from all regions anyway no more cant paly this disc shit!!.

well will restore my nand back to 4.1 that i made last night

Thanks for the help even though it was my dumb error (strange thing i changed to pal last weekend but it didnt work) lol


One quick question how or where does it tell me what firmware is on wiikey
on the update it said 1.9xx not 1.9s??

Ps turns out that the pal version WSR needs the console to be set to pal otherwise black screen
need to switch it back from ntsc lol
no way to force the disc region from disc channel/wiikey
