Last I heard Whitley Bay was Stag and Hen central!
Russ, are you on your own, or with the family mate?
Bod and I may be roaming the countryside on Sunday, you'd be more than welcome to join if you're on your own and bring your cam.

I'll be with the wife Neo, but thanks for the offer!

If you're driving then Beamish Museum (near Stanley and only 10 miles from Newcastle) is well worth a look (with or without kids) - more of a whole day needed for it really though.
Take a drive up the coast through Alnmouth/Warkworth/Seahouses/Bamburgh/Lindisfarne etc... very scenic, plenty of nice country pubs to stop in (if she drives )
Dump the missus at Metro Centre and she can shop till she drops and you can stand round outside and watch the totty going past. Or just get drunk down on the keyside - Pitcher and Piano by the Millenium Bridge is decent enough to lose a lazy sunday afternoon in - specially if the weather is decent.
Plenty to do, just depends what you're into
We're not looking to go to any lapdancing places, its not for a stag weekend!
We are quite interested in going to see High Force, and we're looking at calling in at Carlisle on the way home, whats that got to offer?
Got back today, Newcastle Centre was a nightmare and I shalln't be repeating that in a hurry! We ate at Seaham Hall Hotel in County Durham at night, that was exceptional. Did Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, South and North Shields and all down the coast on sunday then stopped off at high force today on the way back, Good weekend!
