Mile high club (COD4) whos done it?

Wondering if anyone has done mile high club here?

and what was your tactic to do it?

I got to the end once but then panicked and shot the hostage. Was really annoyed and haven't been able to get that far since.

I normally head to the left hand side at the start, knife the first guy, shoot the other down the corridor and then flash bang that room. Soon as someone drops the gun with loads of bullets I grab that and then just try and leg it through the rest...

I really really wanna do it tho, I feel embarrassed that I haven't.

You got the achievement recently, how did you do it?

I have tried it thousands of times, only got to the end once. It is the only achievement that I haven't got.

What i did was.

1. get pistol shoot the guy in the toilet through wall. and the guy straight ahead (leaving guy on the right corridor) throw a flash over the seats as im running down the left. while swapping pistol for his shotgun (luck of the draw with how much ammo is in) shoot the shit out of them all.

2. Go left and duck behind the chairs. throw two flashes over one to the left one to the right.. run up to behind the table.. team mates will kill most.. but shoot some.

3. Go up the stairs to the right throw flash .. shotgun them all.. now switch to your machine gun (full ammo) go into the next room pick the flashes up.. flash everyone shoot them and now.. the hard bit. as some are bending down and you cant see them. hopefully not many will be left. two guys usually hide round the corner ensure your machine gun has ammo

4. Took me 68 times to try do it.. i did get to the end a few times but shot the hostage.

after I completed this I downed a pint of fosters to celebrate..

Ah good work on shooting first guy through wall, I never thought of that.

Completed it on veteran after about 50 trys, its a run while knifing the guy in the toilet, and instantly pistol taking out the two that first appear, then a flash bang, run in and spray. From there on just use as many flashes as possible and it should be easy.

i have - took me hundreds of attempts though. i watched a youtube vid, and the guy took a slightly different route, so tried that and after another 10 goes finally got it.
i danced round the room like an idiot.

Is this competing the last bit on the hardest difficulty?

I completed the game on the penultimate difficulty, but couldn't get past about level 6 on the hardest setting

I've got the mile high cheevo and it was a cunt
from memory it was:
Knife the guy in the bog
running pistol shot to the guy to the left by the doorway
Flashbang - switch to machine gun or shotgun
clear room and into next
flashbang - duck behind railing and let your squad catch up with you
Up the stairs shoot everything
Flashbang shoot and run to the end doors
Tips: Reload whenever you can: Flashbang off a wall so you're protected

End guy: Shoot terrorist in leg, as he pushes hostage away - headshot him

I never got there, got to half way through No Fighting in the War Room on vet then my hard drive in ps3 died so had to get console replaced, not been arsed to go through it all again.

I've got it. 1000 on cod 4 was a proud moment. Can I replicate it on Cod2? No.

i just went through cod2 a couple of weeks ago - i didn't think it was too difficult - unlike cod waw, which was the most frustrating pile of crap.

i have done 2,4,5 and i just need the zombie maps for the full 1500 for cod 5

done cod 2 3 4 and 5 on vet..
In order of dificulty i would say Cod 3 then 5 4 2

The problem with cod 3 was the engine was soooo buggy, enemies could shoot you through scenery including bunker walls without even being able to see you, they where all so pin point accurate soon as you broke cover..

with cod 5 waw the levels with the unlimited re sporning Germans just ruined the games for me i just found myself shooting and running for the next check point.
