top 5 tv shows

what are your top 5 tv shows that are still running?

heres mine

1) Lost- What is the island, i want to know! cryptic, engaging, great characters
2) House- Great show, a bit of everything, comedy, romance, tragedy, action
3) True Blood- Really fun show thats brought vamps into a new light
4) The Mentalist- Who is Red John? great detective show, good supporting cast too.
5) The Big Bang Theory- Laugh out loud moments in every episode. maybe its the geek in me that relates to this show?

heres some that didnt make it.........

Monk- great characters, and buffalo bill as a comedy character!

Burn Notice-fun, witty, and it has Gabriel Anwar

Heroes- first season was immense but its lost it big time and im not fussed with it anymore.

Prison Break- same as Heroes, innovative 1st season and then it just dragged on.

Remember people this is a thread with your opinion of the best shows, no need to put anyone down!

when i mean tv shows i should have clearly stated non sports/ documentary shows

one of the reasons of this thread was to see if there were any shows that i might have missed that are worht downloading etc.

i'll have to try weeds, did attempt to watch flight of the concords but dont think its my cup of tea. i loved dexter until season 3 and the first few eps put me off........ might have to go back to it?

Did like Prisonbreak and Heroes but as stated turned into a pile of crap...
Also my other favs that are no longer airing were Journeyman, Sarah Connor Chronicles and Las Vegas. Gutted they cancelled these shows

i think i must be the only one that didnt like battlestar, i just could'nt get into it. watched the first series but still nothing that really got me into the gallactica universe...

i have to say im looking forward to flash forward it looks promising...

watched a few eps of dark blue, feels too samey to keep watching tho, some might like it?
