Hello,

I'm seriously thinking of putting some money into shares.

Just a bit worried the first batch of money will lose value due to shares decreasing. (i know the risks and rewards).

Any good shares to buy at the moment? fairly safe ones with a bit of profit.?

Have a look in the individual shares section, but remember to do your own research and not solely go on someones recomendation.

can't go wrong with the banks at the moment if your willing to hold for a few years - do your own research though!
