Need Help Punto 2001 Mileage

I tried to clip the 95 xxx chip but no joy keeps saying 10700 but the miles are 134503 on the car, took chpi off same problem. used can but will only send the mileage up. Been told to solder wire to 3 pin conection but were do i solder the 3 pins.

Any help would be great Full.

I am not asking or giving out any codes just say what the mileage is. I just need someones advise on how to use Tacho v2008 on a 2001 punto

Typicle tacho 2008 problem..Always giving wrong figures.Had similar problems on a few occasions eg renault megane giving wrong figures or data not equal so decided to try it but under the clio programme and not megane and bingo it worked so now i find if i have this problem if i try different cars software it usually gets there.lol.Remember you cant damage the chip by reading so when you find the programme that is giving the correct mileage save the file before writing a new one.....

Bad advise there, you can corrupt a data set just by reading, if trying other programs, alway save a data set before you try other programs even if it gives you the wrong value, then save one more data set when you get the correct value.

Indeed, you CAN corrupt data by reading although touch wood not experienced it.
