What did you think of it mate? Do you know if it has a limit on the size of usb drive it can support like some do?

Started to look at the Xtreamer as well now since that looks quite useful.

I like it for what it is, it handles DivX Xvid & ISO well. I can't comment on the upscaler cos I don't have a HD TV. But it's very portable, I have 250gb 2.5" HDD in an enclosure and it all comes away with me when I'm away on business or the caravan. The menu system could be better and you need to be precise in aiming the remote but for £25 I'm more than pleased.
It doesn't give a HDD size limit in the documentation, but the video on the CCL website claims it can connect to any USB device, so I shouldn't think there is a limit. I guess bigger drives that use more juice may need a seperate power source tho.

I only ask because I have seen dvd players before that play divx from usb and only support up to 120gb cos they do not support large drive sizes.

Ok so only just got round to testing this the other day.

First time I booted it could see all the folders on my 250gb usb powered hdd but none of the vids but then booted to a 8 gig usb and that worked fine. Then when I went back to the external hard drive everything worked fine so seems all good. Not tried my 500gb external but think its only the 120gb limit that is ever an issue so that should be fine.

You can fast-forward at really fast speeds and seem to support subtitles.
The remote control is a bit ham fisted but to be expected cos its so small, and the usb drives can get in the way of the remote sensor a bit.
Sometimes it sorts the videos in a funny order but other than that I am really happy with the purchase tho.
Means if im staying away from home can just take that and a usb and still watch the shows I want to.

I read this thread a few weeks ago but was put off as most users haven't had an overall pleasing experience with it.

Says here that a 1tb drive works ok Post #30). Also supports NTFS according to the manual (post #31).
