Tips for creating your player

Lie about your age, make him 18 (even if we are old farts)
6ft 3 Defenders will never have fast face.
5ft 10 attackers will be very fast but wont win tackles and are pushovers.
Dont just stick to one position, you want to get ACC fast.


From what i have found so far

note ACC = Accomplishements (The things you need get to make your custom player better, which you will need to be any good online!)

Play all your games on semi pro + or Accomplishements wont count.
Quite a few Accomplishements can be done in the arena, penalties, free kicks (press down on the d pad)
Chipped penalty = LB+B is one, chip the keeper etc

Maybe start with a bad team in the 2nd divison and win the league, i think that is an Accomplishement, not to mention you will get lots of others over the season.

Dont forget to change the club settings to you doing all kicks other than 1 corner kick.
RB = Finesse
LB = Driven
on free kicks


Play like 10 games up front (small fast player seemed best for me)
and then change your player to 6Ft3 bigfella Defender make him RCB and work through the defensive Accomplishements, should at least do few jumping headers and a minimum of two good sliding tackles over each game, if your winning by 2 goals give the opposition the ball and tackle them back etc, its ok to sim games if your at the top but the more you sim the more chance your team will loose, dont forget to use the scout to get a good keeper and better players, eventually you will get offers for the crap players and just renew any good ones at the end of the season, you wont win the FA cup but try to get to the 3rd round, if your loosing just hit the guide button and Y to exit without saving or the autosave will kick in at the end.

You will have to rest your pro every 4 or 5 games or he will just be out of stamina at the start and prone to injury, just take him out the team and sim a game to recover.

Next try a RM OR LM midfield, working on the through balls (lofted/chipped and crosses in for goals)

I got bored of Rochdale, so i started a new career as United now and am going for 3 cups (75G) hopefully get loads ACC along the way, although im struggling to win consistantley Chelsea have robbed me twice!

What we should do is give it a couple weeks like this, then change our positions around. Make it interesting for everyone. We'll tell everyone a week before the new positions, then it will give us time to build stats up for that postition then.

I got loads in the Arena. First do the skill moves. You have to do it in stages though (1 star, then that unlocks 2 star moves, then 3 star etc) You can view the list in game settings, as well as how to do them.

Then there's 1's for scoring a couple different penalties (chipped and normal)

Theres 1 for a couple different free kicks (driven, using LB), and curled.

So from what i read Manager mode is the best place to level your character up? can anyone 100% confirm this?

The only skill move I could do at first was the juggling, so press and hold LT then tap RT (I think it is, maybe LB then RB who knows ) which gave me the accomplishement to open up the 2nd tier. Not tried anything else yet.

How do you do a chipped pen? I can only whack them :S

I think its RB or LB. The driven free kicks are pretty good, you can shoot under the wall with them (use LB)

sooner you get it the better swiggy and rest of you, as you need to get many accomplishements which will make your player better and even up the playing field.

LOL yep, they are the positional initials that FIFA uses Don't think left wing is taken yet, but don't get overexcited about positions, because we will all play in different positions, just wait and see when me and Steve play up front together, we're lethal
