    Default Goldbergs DIY adventure

    All,

Some of you may know about my venture to turn my house upside down (if you follow Twitter).

As requested I have started a blog. It just has a welcome page right now, but I will be adding the photo's when I get the chance with daily updates.

    http://thediychallenge.blogspot.com/

    Enjoy.

Looking good mate... Im also living on a building site at the moment because im totally renovating our living room and dining room it aint nice is it?
Think you might be being a lil ambitious with just allowing 3 weeks for all that work or have you got a lot of help? It's allready taken me over a month on mine and we're just about ready to start painting walls.

Looking good. But like RSV says 3 weeks is a bit ambitious

I gutted my house a couple of years ago, ended up taking 6 months, loved it though. But we werent living in it at the time.

I have to admit that I do have some professionals doing the main stuff

All building work will be done within 3 weeks, it's the cosmetic finishing off, laying floors etc... that will take a little longer. But I am having a 'dry' November and will be at it in all of my spare time.

My first ever house back in Boro I completely renovated from top to bottom! I was knocking walls out, re-plastered, decorated etc... Took a year and I never spent one night in it as I sold it (to move to the Smoke!). Made a nice profit on it though, I bought it at the arse end of the last house crash and sold it at the start of the last boom!

More update on the Blog tomorrow
