    anybody know any good sites where i can get some C++ books cheap as im a student (same ol story)

    ive just started a course and need a head start

    Not really dude, Amazon etc have the market pretty much sewn up for technical books.

    I have a couple of C++ books in pdf format if you want them.

    PM me and I will send them out.

    You can't beat paper though.

    Assuming you know nothing about C++ my I recommend 'The C Programming Language' by Kernighan & Ritchie (C programming - but THE book)

    i have a couple of c++ books in pdf format but the are mega size 39 & 19 MB, so they wont fit in your mp. as you are a student and out of the goodness of my heart i will send them to you on cd rom. pm me your mail address and watch for the postie.....
