    hi m8,
the bt56 and the bt57 tyres were replaced with bt010 and bt020 which are even better than the originals, i use them on my tiggerbike.

as they are dual compound (harder in the middle and softer at the edges) they dont 'square off' in the center as quick as a sports tyre after lots of motorway miles but are sticky enough to do some good scratching with.

knee down gixer kicking on a zx-10/11 homebuild proves to me that its good rubber.

if you just want to do some sunday scratching then a pair of MEZ1's or corsas is a good bet, but what you gain on lean angle you loose on mileage (my bike killed a MEZ1 rear in well under a 1000 miles - it was a damn fun week though )

i think the bt020 is a harder compound in the middle than the bt010's

BT010's on my CBR600FX. Sticky as hell!!

Quick Q - How long would you expect BT010's to last? Had some michelin pilots on last time, they lasted about 5000miles

I've just done 2000 miles across Germany and 20 laps of the Nurburgring on my BT010 shod Gixer600.
Excellent tyre, the rear is only half way through and did not even square off after 1200 miles of warpspeed on the Autobahn.

If anyone is looking for the ultimate track experience, you have got to go to the Nurbugring ASAP.

No words describe it adequately. You will have the most fun on a bike you've ever had and be the most scared youve ever been at the same time. It would be illegal in this country, no doubt about it.

Haven't tried the 010's yet but have got 207's on mine at the mo, and they let you scratch loads, worn out the toe clip on my Sidi Couriers toe cap. Great fun and roundabouts are just non stop sparks.... down side is not so many miles per tyre, last 207 got 2500 miles, but died with big puncture, so will see how this one goes.

    Ride safe
