funcard or silvercard

I have used both but if I am not wrong you can only get IRD AU on silver DS9 by adjusting the cocos tho the wright value

I had a Silver card until i tried the Fun card of a friend of mine . Now i only use Fun, It's faster and updates Irdeto quicker.

I have just odered a MEGA FUN card, not yet received, I note that the cards quoted by Cardman on his pages are numbered 8515 which I am certain is different from the one I am waiting for.
I think I have not made a wise choice?
Can anyone advise what what a "Silver" and "Purple" can be programmed for?

using ds9 since the beginning...sticks out an inch from the 5400 but its been worth it...gonna try a fun now and see how i got on...although there aint much left..im running the via2 b/f attack

Silvercard for me.

The 5400 and DS9 opened my eyes to the world...

Problem is I don't get out much these days!

Funcard for me and my setup, mainly because they seem to clear channels that the silver card/files don't.

i use both............but i prefer the fun card because i feel there are more fun card files and they seem to get posted quicker.

whichever (fun or silver)....... my hat is off to the file guys........!

Hi I have been using both since they came out and ds9 used to be the better of the two, now though fun is better.

The funcard gets my Vote...
Purely for the reason of ease of programming...
I do use both, however using an El cheapo Funprom programmer VS The Pic / Mouse programmer. The Funprom, if slower, is a lot easier to use.
