Essential Apps Thread?

Just wondered what people though about an essential apps thread?

I've got to admit that I usually just stumble across apps, from forums (here obviously), but would like to know what essential apps other people use (from app store, and through cydia etc), what they do, why they use them, and the benefits etc..

If bad idea, then no probs, just thought it could sit along side the essential games thread.

Keep it as the sameish format (not set in stone but you get the idea)

title, simple description, 1 line review, price

include any screenshots or video if there is one and any links.

state if cydia or appstore and if cydia, what repo it's on.

ok Malty, I will start one tommorow (too late now) with the apps I use, with mini review etc.. then we can sticky it. Then see how it grows. cheers
