    Default Wii - Factory Defaults

Over the year or two which i've had my Wii, I have played around with the various loaders and emulators. My Wii is modded with one of the first mod chips out there, but i've also softmodded it .. so that I can test and see how the SD card / loaders work etc. Question I think my Wii is still on 4.3E, is there anyway I can totally revert the Wii back to the original menu/files ... and start again .. ie. setup channels etc ...

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind Regards
    DTM

i did this myself last week m8

all you need is anytitle deleter, this will remove EVERYTHING you have put on it regarding any channels including the homebrew chan.

One thing tho dont touch ANY of the system files (youll see them in the list) i did and all the chans vanished apart from the disk chan, no big deal as i didnt use any of them anyway, but i ran my wii sports resort which asked for an update and that put all the chans back.

So now my wii is back to the exact way it was when i took it out the box

hope you sort it, its really easy m8

put anytitle deleter in the apps folder on your SD card and run it from the homebrew chan, then delete them all, wii reboots and thats it.

oh i didnt need to do it but i also did a format system memory from within the wii menu, if you do this you will have to setup the wii again, like make a new wiime, and new console name etc, and backup any save games to your sd first aswell or you will lose them

when i looked into it when i wanted to do it i read that didnt get rid of the chans, dunno if its true

the way i did it was piss easy tho

edit: yeah knew i was right and had seen it before

Channels are best deleted with AnyTitle Deleter as removing them in data management leaves traces behind and don't use the 'format' option on the wii as this won't delete what you want it to and could cause problems.
