PLease help me out with my PS2 !

Hi all,

I have tried searching everywhere but cannot find the answers to my problems.

I have a 30003r UK PS2. I fitted a NEO2.2 chip. I have the latest Action Replay 2.

Now the problem is that I can only play 1 backup which is Super Bust A Move. It loads perfectly every time. The rest just do not work (when you insert disc and press X the cd drive spins up fast then slows down and then goe sup again)-i have tried different swaping methods etc (all methods i can find but no luck) could some one please help me out with these questions ?

1/ It plays PS1 backups perfectly - does this mean the chip is installed correctly.

2/ I burnt all my games using CDRWin and the default settings - is this correct? What settings should I use.

3/ Do you have to enable the chip some how for ps2 games ?

4/ I have tried different media, but usually use TDK Reflex X - does any one know if these are any good ?

5/ Could it be that some of the backup games I have tried to load are dvd rips or imports ?

6/ I did not fit the cap on pin 2 - could this cause the problem? I thought it was not necesary with neo2.2

7/ Has any one ever had as much trouble as me with ps2 backups ? if so what did you do ?

8/ If I fit a new chip should it work and what i the best one to buy for uk 30003r ?

9/ Does any one know anywhere in London that sells this chip and how much should I pay ?

I really hope some one can help me out with this as it's really frustrating - never before have i had so much greif with a console and backups.
