html question
i suck at html it is hard for me to make a page that displays a few pics but i have a page that i just want a dir of funny pics that i can view but they dont allow viewing the directory is there html code that would just display all the pics in the dir? uhhh yes i am retarded

can you try to rephrase the question with some punctuation marks so it's easier to get to what exactly it is that you want?
There is php code and asp or cgi if your hoster supports any of that and its pretty simple to write.
yeah any php or cgi code or whatever would be cool, basically i just like to download funny/dumb/etc pics. i want to put them on my page right now they are in the /pics directory, but the host wont allow viewing directorys so some kind of code that would just show what is in the directory, and maybe even have thumbnails? would be nice, like so if i uploaded a bunch more i wouldnt have to change anything it would list them. does that make sense?
u dont need any html to list files in a dir, just make sure theres no "index.html" in the directory and the browser will automatically list all the files, like and ftp.

learn some php you can whip it up in a minute..you cant do it with just pure html. your host must support the scripting language you chose though (php would be easiest)

That depends on how you setup the webserver, just because it works for you on one server doesn't mean it works on every server.
damn hell i dont know php, simple html puzzles me... no time to learn it i was hoping someone knew a link or a simple solution, i dont wanna have to code an html and link to over 300 pictures

there are special programs that can take all the pics from a dir and make fancy gallery webpages with thumbnails and all, just search on google or www.download.com , btw photoshop has a function like that too.
