mine comes from the old cb days ( cosmic ) but that name is taken all over the net so i added the first 2 letters of my name hence cosmicma

nothing glorious.....

the best nick i have heard has gotta be "known" excellent nickname for the web, simple and could mean anything

I just wanted summat that had nowt to do with my name, and I used to play bandits, quizzers, pinball a lot so it seemed ok to me.
Someone once complemented me on it - christ knows why, I think it's a bit lame.

Oh BTW Robbie Vox - big deal's character was Robbie BOX

I've got a tatt of Tigger on my left shoulder blade, me & 3 of my M8's one pished up night decided to get tatt-ed, so after many pints we finally agreed on Tigger & as I was the third of us 4 to have it done, hence tigger3.
It also says 'Poll Tax Rebel' around it but that's another story & whilst topical at the time of having the tattoo done, would date me a little if I used that as a nick, whereas Tigger is ageless, innit!

Mine came from the fact that at the time of registering to the board I was listening to Freestyler by Bomfunk MC's and everytime i think of a number in true Bill and Ted style i think '69 dude!' But now I FU(KIN HATE IT and would do anything if an admin would be kind enuff to change it for me? Please I would be eternally grateful!

was known as 'Soul Storm' from the good old CB dayz but when i looked on ICQ i saw a few peeps with the nick so had to think of something unique...

full nick is 'DelmOrPhaceasE' with the capitals raised to spell DOPE (obvious stoner

) but cant use it all on boards or IRC so go by Delmorpha...

think it came from me just playing with random words... it just popped into ma head and sounded good in my opinion! Spotted you could make DOPE about 18 months ago and adjusted things on ICQ

Filled the form in without reading it first.

I would have used thumper as in the rabbit from bambi.

Given to me during a South and South-West Colts vs Combined Forces U21 rugby game in the very early 90's..

According to the forwards coach, my rucking style was just a little bit too much "happy tappy tap-tap with the feet" on any player lying on the ground while wearing a huge grin.

Something to scare the grand-children with.

It started in my XTC days.
One girl used to regress to about 12 year old and prefix everyones name with Mr. and Little Miss.

Sometime after I went out with a girl who had a 3 year old daughter and I got introduced as Mr.James.

It sorta stuck and now it's my DJ name too.

Ok i used to chat alot on the net when i was in college and always used the nick Spike due to my spiky hair, people kept stealing it so ended up using LordSpike then the 2k thing was happening and picked Spike2k1 even though it was only 2000. Still, i got it before those little buggers nicked it!! I used to be Amigan on IRC back in my amiga days. I've got a lot of different nicks, i think i've got to many personalities, at least thats what the voices tell me!!

Mine came from playing Quake in the office. Having no creativity whatsoever I was using my first name as my character name. Our screens used to look like this:

Destructor gibbed DeathDealer.
Goreman was fragged by AxeMurderer.
then I got a kill:

Destructor was gibbed by Alan.

Hmmm, Alan. Not a name to strike fear into the heart is it? So I tried to think up something a bit more menacing and came up with Barakuda.
