anyone got an asus eeepc 901 3g ???

if you got one of these (probably on orange contract like mine??) i dont suppose you could copy me your sys restore cd/dvd? i have lost mine and put on a cracked win7 but need to be going back to xp. i am happy to pay for disk/postage etc. please help!

Have a look at the Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) sticker on your laptop to determine the edition of XP (Home or Pro) then have a look on the internet for the same edition making sure that you download the OEM version (not retail/corporate/volume license).

You should be able to re-install from this CD and it will activate using the 25-digit product key on the COA.

If you can't find an OEM version the just download the correct edition and then run the Product Key update tool found here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/sel...XPPkuinst.aspx

This will let you swap between versions (OEM/Retail/Volume License).

Also make sure you have downloaded all your drivers first and stuck them on a memory key/cd especially making sure that you definitely have any network/wireless/3g drivers as if something hasn't downloaded you'll always be able to get back on the net and download them afterwards.
