Swapping from Sly to Virgin??

with Virgin i have personally only had problems with new installations (changing house etc.) because it seems to take them a while to get everything working, however once everything is setup i can honestly say problems have been few and far between (99% sorted by resetting box, modem etc)

never had any of the others so they are my only experience too!

Ive heard from some people that the reason virgin had to change encryption was due to the fact sky had it written in a contract that for virgin to receive more Hd channels, there network had to be secure. Id expect sky sports hd and possible movies in the middle of next year. Just my input

Virgin broadband customer for over 7 years on their £25 package & been a bit too lazy to phone up & ask for a better deal, but basically it works very well & I haven't had to contact them about it since the initial 2 weeks of it being installed in my house.

The service is good, but their billing is a nightmare.
I've just changed my direct debit date due to a different pay date, and because of the billing cycle I have to pay two cable bills this month. Instead of putting my November/december bill back they have brought my december/january bill forward.

Had loads of chew with them getting my stuff installed this week but now it's in including 50meg BB and it's the mutt's, I changed from sky when we moved to Leeds this week 'cos sky were being right bloody stupid about moving house.
