Patching wave 4 games to wave 3

ok got a few mates with banned boxs obviously
instead of updating their f/w they want to just patch the new wave stuff to work
can anyone pls point me in the direction of the tool and method.
im hoping its just a ppf patcher?

Thats if they are on 1.6 though - what if its a lite on 1.51.

A way to patch wave 4 back to wave 3 or what ever the process is would be handy as another temp fix.

ppf o matic which is what i used to patch wave 3 and 4 to wave 2 as the activate iso would not work on my banned box

It'd be easier reflashing... 5 minutes, one time, job done. Especially if they're banned anyway, can flash back to before iextreme f/w so new waves wont make a difference.

yes thats what i want to do - activate iso no use, they are on older f/w
so u use ppf but what do u patch with - is it a generic patch for all games??

they are all hopeless and cant reflash their boxes . and i dont particularly want to do it, so i was looking for a patch solution for them - thereby keeping me completely out of the loop once i tell them how !

yes its very easy search for wave 4 to wave 3 patcher and download it - run it once on a Iso - takes a few seconds and it done - burn and off you go. I have a liteon and theres no point patching to 1.6, burning a activation iso disc and boot from that damn thing every time.

ppf o matic 3 will patch wave 4 and 3 to wave 2 with the v14-15 patch file

thanks . so if they patch these they will work regardless of drive etc? they all have diff drives with varying ollder f/w

Well i have 3 banned boxs with older F/W on them which only wave 2 will boot. i patched modern warefare 2 and it worked. it really all depends which F/W they are on.

i use the ppf o matic 1-4 to 1-5 patch for all the wave 4 and 5 games.

i'm on 1.4 firmware. never go online with it so no worries,

no problem doing my own but not entertaining doing loads of mates boxes that i didnt flash in the 1st place - patch got em off my back, tho when i tried it it didnt work for me!

This program gets updated alot and I had problems installing it once it updated.

Here is the place online where all the updates happen. Just download the install.exe run it and it'll update.

Just used my old one (pre-xmas) to patch UFC 2010 and FIFA South Africa and its worked fine, so I'm not gonna update...
