    Default The Incredibles

prrrt, what a dissapointment! (for an adult)

This film looked promising but didn't deliver it. The animation was quality but the story was rubbbbish. It's a shame becuase this looks like pixar's weakest film to date...i hope they can pull something better out the bag next time.

this film is probably great for children, but as a part of a group of 'adults' it seemed pretty lame and not very interesting. The story was totaly predicatable, which isn't always bad but it made it worse.

The 3d effects and visuals do give it a lot of praise from me, but that's honestly it.

I hope others enjoy it more than me!

Watched this last night and yes, it was a disappointment. A few laughs, but certainly not as many as there should've been.

Digital jiggery pokery was well up to scratch though.

gutted, the trailers I saw ages ago looked hilarious.

whats the quality of the POT CAM like? is it worth waiting for a better one or even the big screen?

    Cheers

not sure which i had but the sound quality was not great (as normal) but it was also really darkt hroughout...ok u can change it to make it lighter but the contrast is a bit fcuked as well....although the only thing i liked about this film was how it looked so you can see the good bits still

Ignore POT's cam and telesync. Get Centropy's telesync, much better.

This film got one of the highest reviews by IMDB and quite a few other sites/papers... Most of them rave about the storyline and clever humour... Not seen it yet so I cant comment, I just find it interesting that Shang and CA found it so poor?!

P.S. the quality of the Pot TS was fine, a few heads on screen but other than that......

I'm certainly not saying that it's poor. 6/10 imho is quite a decent score. 10/10 is surely a perfect (impossible?) film for the genre and 1/10 being total cak?

It wasn't total cak, but it certainly wasn't perfect. Was better than average though, so 6.

have to agree with comminatcha...pixar story lines obviously follow the same pattern, I just think this was on the lamer end of the scale rather than the better side.

I have to admit though, most stories that contain a family as the main characters have to be a pretty decent family to keep me happy, otherwise I can't help but think it's all a bit lame, regardless of what happens....

I just really expected a lot more than there was in this film, but maybe a dvd-rip will help change my mind.

Loved it, an average overall storyline but the animation, voices and sound were superb.
Great family entertainment. Although I have to say that I enjoyed Sharktale slightly more

I'm with the likey very much group on this. It's a top film and I wet myself on a number of occasions. All fun and a new twist on the standard superhero thing, which has been done to death. 9/10 :thumbs

This film was piss poor! Apart from the animation, the jokes, characters and storyline were cr*p! Really disappointed with it. Probably the worst animated movie to date and not a patch on Toy Story/ A Bug's Life / Monsters Inc. / Finding Nemo / Antz..etc...
