I was about six when we had a Spectrum, the only games I remember having were Space Invaders, Hungry Horace and Horace goes Ski-ing.
My cousin had loads of games, he was ten years older than me and had a spectrum that played floppy disk (is that right, vaguely remember), he had loads of great games like Robocop, Elite and this Olympics game where you had to press two buttons to gain speed. Loads of Blisters.
I'm a nobody, nobody is perfect, therefore I am Perfect!!!
What is a spectrum?

Laser squad and lords of chaos and the dizzy collection :thumbs
I was a proper spectrum freak back years ago, I've got all my old favourites and play them now thru spectaculator.
The only game that I played until my fingers hurt was renegade back in 1987. Then they released Target Renegade and it was even better!
Ocean made the best quality spectrum games in the late 80's I reckon.
Ocean where definately one of the better game makers. Wasn't it Ocean who did Batman??? Has to be one of my fav speccy games come to think about it, but always struggled on the Batwing level cutting those bloodly balloons :annoyed:.Originally Posted by DannyLad
It was Ocean, found a couple of screen shots
That brings the memorys flooding back.
Sabotuer 1 & 2
Nebulus
Jack The Nipper
The Way Of The Exploding Fist
Far too many great Speccy games out there to just pick the one !
Beech Head omg I forgot about that game - how hard was it!
My four favourites were:
Thrust (control space ship with swinging loads) - from the £1.99 range
and
Bounty Bob Strikes Back - challenging platform action similar to chuckie egg.
King Kong (the one where you were running along the roller coaster track dodging the cars)
and Target Renegade! Kicking ass with the kempston!

Here's a game a forgot all about, Bruce Lee
Best bit was playing the c64 version with my mate and both of us kicking the sh**e out of the ninja.
And again, another cracking game from Ocean.
Must have slipped me by this one :|don't seem to recall it, found these screenshots thou.Originally Posted by DannyLad
Thats the one, top game!Originally Posted by tangerine_menace
It was ded annoying though that if you defined your keys and got them wrong it wouldnt let you go back and change them once you'd started your game. You'd have to reset your trusty speccy and spend another 5-6 mins loading it up again!
Another one, who remembers Bionic Commando?
