Down to a week left and hoped it'll happen again

So we've rolled around to that time of year again already. Apparently there's a growing tradition that we have a half price sale at this time of year, so being eager to please, here is this years!

As of the posting of this news item, until 31st December 2009 23:59:59 GMT, all topups cost 15 pence sterling a week instead of the usual 30 pence! (15 pence is about 25 US cents, or 16 eurocents)

That is, when the clocks roll over to 2010 in the UK, the price will revert. For the avoidance of doubt, that will be 7pm on New Year's Eve in New York, or 11am on New Year's Day in Sydney. I hope this is clear this year

So this year you have nearly a full month to get your topups in, our longest ever sale!

Clearly the current and future climate are going to be rather more turbulent than the economic boom we've all enjoyed for the past decade. No company can guarantee they're going to exist in the years to come and sadly Newzbin is no exception. However, we're still here now, and we have every intention of that remaining the case for the forseeable future.

So have a merry Christmas if you're that way inclined, or happy holidays if you're not, and do have a beer in our name at your New Year's party

Not sure whether to go for this or not based on the bother their in and might not be around for much longer. Plus I don't use it anywhere near as much as I used to although it has been handy at times.

i did this a couple of years ago, but i've got lifetime subs from nzbsrus and nzbmatrix, which provide me with everyting i need. not sure if they still do it, but worth a look

edit: and seeing as my account with newzbin still lets me log into newzxxx, then that really does give me everything i need

I mainly use Merlins Portal or newzleech but for £7.50 its a fucking no-brainer IMO!

You'll get nothing off Newzleech at the moment.

Update: On 19/11/2009 Newzleech's host in Ukraine Colocall got raided by the country's secret service.
Newzleech wasn't targeted specifically. Every server in the building was removed as part of an unrelated
criminal case. Why they took every server nobody knows. Lots of legitimate Ukrainian businesses have
been affected. In case you're worried there was zero logs on the server so don't worry about that.

Unfortunately there isn't a recent backup on the server scripts. I am currently rebuilding the site from the
old backups that I have. Please be patient while the site is being rebuilt. We should be back before the end
of the year.

Sorry for the lack of updates.
