Rock Fans???

i saw steve vai at monsters of rock at donnington park when iron maiden(prob the best true heavy metal band ever) headlined in the late 80's,he's a good player no doubt for that style of music,but for real guitar, you can't beat stevie ray vaughn.

after seeing 100's of bands live, iron maiden are without doubt the most impressive.judas priest and alice cooper are good to.

i've been playing myself for 16 years,in and out of bands,had some real fun.......entered battle of the bands, finished 5th out of 100's of bands.

these days i just tinker


any other guitarists on here.

was that the kiss dave lee roth line up if it was it has to be the best line up for a rock concert ever every band including helloween were good pity about the deaths that got it banned for a few years

sure was, were you there m8,gunsn'roses too in their earlier days.

i remember seeing the screen come down that killed them,tragic.

110,000 peeps,biggest festival at donny ever that one.....what a gig, i was 15 back then.

yeah, real metal is Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden etc; I fvcking hate Korn and the rest of the nu-metal crap, im into Pantera, Deftones, Sabbath, In Flames, Hatebreed, Poison The Well, Skycamefalling, Machine Head (Old stuff, Supercharger was sh!te!). Im 18 and my dad got me into metal, the likes of Sabbath and Motorhead. And its give me the inspiration to be in a band nowdays!.

Korn were good that nu album untouchables stinks. Talking guitarists zakk wyldes the best around any of you guys see him at donnington with pride and glory. how many bands were down the side of the stage watching him(pantera,slayer etc).

joe satriani,s pretty cool though but kirk hammets the ultimate student of his though.

alice in chains are still the best band of there time. time will tell korn fans.

Bring back the 80's for gods sake please,i am sick of this american nu-metal shite,what bo((ocks,there's only a handfull of american bands that did metal well,and they're commercialised to death now.

Can someone tell me why there aren't any quality bands around any more,i remember Rainbow with ian gillan,zep,deep purple,sabath then in the 80's Maiden,ac/dc etc..

I think the only decent bands of 90's are the manics and radiohead,maybe mettalica.

Where's tomorrows super band, once U2,Floyd etc have gone,who's gonna replace them?....

westlife and the like, i think not.
