Loading games onto my psp

I have just got a psp and now i want to enable it to play downloaded games etc, Firstly what type of memory card do i need (do i need a special card?) secondly what do i need to do to get it in a state to recognise the game files & where do i put these folders/files and last of all anyone know of any good sites where i can get them from.

I appreciate your help this is going to be the 1st time i have done this and i need to know what card i need to buy

First of all what version PSP have you got? I think all but the PSP 3000 and the new PSP Go are flashable.

You need custom firmware on the PSP to play games off memory stick. For this you'll need a pandora battery and the necessary files on memory stick. You need to sort this before thinking about the games.

bollocks its a psp 3000, but i have being trying to research it and i believe it still may be possible, ive been looking for the psp section but cant find it ill have another look then, so basically its looking like if i do find a way of opening it up its not gonna be easy lol

you need to be on ofw 5.03 or below to use chickhen but even then it is stored to ram and not a permanent cfw...

right .... i have now got my psp ...friggin ebay have scammed me and i was meant to be getting a psp 3000 and i think it is a psp 2000 (judging by the serial code) AW070506297-PSP2001 lol, also the system software is Version 3.60, does this mean i can hack into it?
