Not sure if all Nokia ones do biggy - I can'f find it on my 6210 and I don't rmbr one on my 3310. If all else fails orange customer services might be able to tell from the sim (although I've never asked for this info myself).

My o2 tells me the number on the top up line before I add credit - not sure about orange - might be worth a try - althought you've probably already tried that

Simple. Phone your landline, hang up, and do 1471 and write the number down.

Enter the number in your Address Book as 'My Number' to save you the hassle of having bits of paper everywhere.

if you type in *#100# and press enter or call (green button)it should put the number of the phone on the screen and no credit used

only works with Vodaphone I am afraid SSYD.

The way i do it is use an old Ericsson 688 mobile, when it is switched on displaying the Ericsson LOGO (like nokias Startup message) the sim card phone number is displayed below it. I know that this method also works with the A1018s and 868/888 models if you have any of these hanging around (most people do use these for Doorstops now).

    Hope it helps
