Have Videoguard Been Compromised !!!

Only until recently NDS/Videoguard used by Sky Digital was the safest inscription system in Europe. All the efforts by hackers were good only for a week and then something was going wrong again and there was no cure. Unless you paid the subscription charge you could not watch SKY.
Apparently all it takes is to concentrate not on the smart card but on the official receiver itself, The DigiBox. It's Stated that the hardware inside the Philips box needs to be slightly modified and the whole package including the Pay per View programs is visible for free without the use of any smart card.

What has the USA got to do with sky?

USA NDS cards are different to UK NDS cards.

I have posted this before but got flamed , our old bloke has free sky digi , he has had it for over 2 years .
I havent got a clue how , but i had it installed for him from a mate who was a sky installer.
It has no movies but everything else , and definately no subscription . The card is a proper sky one . I have spoken to various people about this , Dunker been one of them who said it must be an engineers card which wont get turned off unless it is reported lost or stolen .
Not got a clue , but true .

Just been talkin to the dudez on the other side - (USA), about DTV's encryption which is NDS.

Asked em whether they thought SKY nds would be cracked.

There answer was "NO", and I asked "WHY"

"There is very little or no collective effective, as sky clamp down very hard. Most the guys who did the old version are either in jail or dead"

So do really think a hobby is more important than your life?

Probably just like me they want SLY in more than one room. If you buy a second box from SLY they charge through the roof. Generally you can pick up 2nd hand digib0xes for very little in the classifieds from ppl who no longer have SLY.

There is no Hack in Spain. The signal is collected and then broadcast Localy. It is either by dish(microwave) or cable exactly the same as NTL do in the UK.

It is not rocket science it would be easy to do in the Uk. The only problem is that it would be closed within 1 day.

In fact it would be much easier in the UK because in Spain 3.3 to 5.5 metre dishes are needed South of Alicante to collect and re-transmit the neccasary signals.

If you travel inland from Alicante(not too far) you will see many inverted dishes.

These are used for receiving local microwave signals which are being sent. These are Re Broadcasting signals.

A sat dish picks up its signal from the top and it is then sent to the lnb. The correct way up it picks up the signal from overhead if on the equator. gradualy the angle reduces as we go north.

So if you invert the dish it picks up signals from land transmitters.

This is how it works in Spain!!

personally i think sci has been hacked but ask yourself if you cracked it and could watch any pay per view station would you share it with anybody and risk it going the same way as no digital, as much as i like you guys,nobody comes between my free tv if you know what i mean
