Just back from Fuertaventura where s*y cards are openly advertised for sale, the add reads

s*y tv available with no monthly payments. watch free tv with no month payments, tv cards available for a one off payment ect

Decided to check this out while I was there, all of the bar owners are paying for their tv through bank accounts at home, sorry to disapoint everyone but its fta cards that are up for offer, so thats the only free tv thats available

Just out of interest, those people who install sly have working cards dont they???? to check if your system is picking up sly.

What do we know about these cards. They are not linked to the reciever are they.- interesting to have some more info on this.

I believe that most of the installers do not have a card, they normally only install when the new card has arrived. The installers who do service calls may well have cards, but bear in mind that certain channels on an activated card will work on any receiver, so they don't need to be married to the box.

I had TVX for over 1 year on sly. I think they connected me by mistake when they went to switch someone else on. I guess it could happen with a whole bunch of channels, but a hack it aint.

Sorry guys, Ive been withholding information, because I dont want to post on any forums, just incase 5ky have their spies...
but, I feel I have to say something or this thread is just going to keep going and going with rumours

Cards are being sold for 5ky digital here in the uk..

They do work, and whats more they work on all channels and they auto update too ! ! !

Ive seen them being demonstrated & working, Ive seen them being sold at a well known computer market / fair for �170 each

Id like 5ky for free, but if I pay traders �170 for it, then its not really free, is it ? ? ?
So, I tried to get more info out of these guys but after asking a few questions they soon sussed what I was up to and they clammed up on me..

If u say is true then get 10 guys on here to chip in 17 quid each, and then buy one.

or 20 guys at 8.50 quid.

Analyse the card, see if it works and how!

You are correct. To test a SLY install all that is needed it a meter that is connected to the dish and a compass. They can use the compass to work out the direction and the meter will show the strength of the signal. This method is quicker than just 'looking' at the television and moving the dish.
