Screw - is the screw head itself

Terminal - is the terminal at the base of the pot housing, top left as we look @ it

O.k ive got it back up and running , ONLY on Originals though so i think its time for a trip over to neo and try some of these disks that everyone is raving on about. I presume i can get these from the shop and not have them posted to me.

successfully inserted a pioneer 116 dvd rom into my box, with
little modificatios and a power split cable outgoing from the harddrive it runs very well , but no original game runs anymore
for now...
all brands of cdr/w or dvd-r/w runs fine and much faster
than with the shit original dvd rom, you dont need to modify
anything , only connect and set it to slave , but if you want to rip audio to harddisk than you need to solder some wires ....

Well i picked up my neo disks today and burned 3 so far and they all boot Perfect so far and this is on a real fussy laser so as far as i,m concerned , dont bother swapping your drives and loseing the Ability to play Originals and have extra drives sitting on top of the box Get NEO DVD,s . I will keep you posted if these fail on me. STILL NEED TO PACKAGE BETTER THOUGH GUYS.

Xbox Laser Fix While modding a friends Xbox I noticed he had alot easier time reading different media than my machine. His machine was a resold refurbished machine from Microsoft so I wondered what M$ may have changed. When I opened it up I noticed a little modding of their own. Following what they did I managed to get my XBox to read media better than ever! The picture can be found here. Notice they removed a surface mount resister where the wire is and the resister used is a 10k resister. Also, AFTER you install the resister, break out your multimeter and set the pot on the laser to 1650. Worked for me, but I don't take responcibility for any damages cause by this news. More importantly, if your XBox can read cheap DVD-R and CD-RW just fine LEAVE IT ALONE

Maybe be of use to some of you with crap drives?

I have a x-box here that will not play neo dvd its plays the odd bulkpaq and i mean odd one , i have tried the laser all the way from 800 - 1600 and it will not play neo at all. I think these drives are totally shit and the sooner we can **** em off the better. just thought i,d let u guys know about this one anyway. BTW these disks play fine in mine.

iv ot cut the neo dvds yet so canot say anything about them
should get them cut at week end mabe sooner i was told that fws dvd are good mabe try them all so il let you all know how thay good and all so have here a shit dvd
