you will find them cheaper if you shop around when you get over there m8y

I know Tobacco Road is good . Its basicly just rows of shops , so you can walk in and out till you find the best deal.
i know someone who does 200 for £15 - he lives in the phillipines tho so it takes like a week to arrive

15 quid for 200, thats a nice deal. while your average british punter pays 42 notes down at tesco, were all being shafted.
Damn I wouldnt mind even paying 19 for ciggies . If anyone can sell me 400.
save money try this place guys used them and they seem pretty top notch..

Just come back from belgium on a ciggy run , they have all put up there prices due to the recent 'relax' in customs .
We have worked out that we have bought around £3500 worth of bines and will get about £900 profit between us .
Not really worth the while any more , regal were in most shops £22 , not leaving a big enough priofit for it to be worth it .

This site looks quite good, havent tried it myself (i live nearish Dover!) but they explain the legalities very well.I dont live near enough to dover to get meself some.

the information on the cigi-shop website is technically accurate as regards the european directives, however hm customs operate under uk law and not under eu directives. check this information from http://www.hmce.gov.uk/public/shoppi...ingtobacco.htmOriginally posted by scaira

Tobacco purchases from within the EC:
Q. Is it legal to buy tobacco over the internet from another European Community country?
A. Yes, but ONLY if the UK VAT and excise duty is paid on the goods. The person who sells the goods must make arrangements for these taxes to be paid before they are sent to you. If you are a customer, it is in your interests to ensure this has been done, otherwise the goods are liable to forfeiture by Customs at the postal depot.
Q. What if the tobacco is a personal gift?
A. There are no statutory reliefs for tobacco goods posted as gifts from other EC countries, however Customs will not normally make additional charges provided that :
It is a bona-fide gift sent from a private person in another EC country to a private person in UK;
It must be for your own personal use and cannot be sold to others;
You must not have paid for it, either directly or indirectly.
There must be no commercial or trade element to the contents of the consignment
It must be of an occasional nature (e.g. birthday, anniversary etc.).
Purchasing cigarettes from an internet company in another EC country to send to a family member or friend as a gift will NOT qualify for relief of duty and VAT.
Q. How can you go over to France and buy what you want for your own personal use but you can’t do the same over the Internet?
A. Under an EU directive (Council Directive 92/12/EEC), tobacco dispatched by a vendor in one member state to a private individual in another forms a commercial transaction and is liable to duty in the member state of destination.
I have used internet sites (including cigi-shop) and have had varying degrees of success,some got through, some confiscated. HM customs basically laugh in your face if you try using the info on the cigi-shop site. I found it was best to claim the payment back from your credit card as the goods were never delivered.

Tobacco Road (Belgium) has got to dear. Try EasyJet to Amsterdam .... simular prices and twice the fun. ... he he he .... EasyJet to Malaga ... 70Km's to Gibraltar. £7 - £9 per 200 . BUT Gib is not EU!! ... Thats how alot of the net smokes.comers get nailed ... import duty no matter on how many. Hull to Zibrugge ... friday night £50 return ... takes 24 hrs ... go on the piss ... loads of hen parties, nightclub and small casino... get the fags and ale. But what you got to think of is ...as always ... where ever you go we atre being nailed. They have all caught on. Go off the beaten track. Where ever you fly to,sail to or drive to find a village in the middle of nowhere and just ask for 20 fags and you'll get the shop price.... then nail them.... ask how much for 4000. The bloke will shit it . It's the normal price to him, to shift 4000 in one day will be...say no more. You can drive there get a bus or whatever. Just make sure you get one brand of ciggies and one brand of baccy. You won't and can't be done even if you've never smoked before. If somehow they sussed you don't smoke, thats what happens if you bring different brands back and then your on a sticky wicket cause nobody smokes Silk Cut and B&H, there is no British or European law saying you can't buy fags cause you don't smoke. You can buy a car if you can't drive, you can but a house even if you don't live in it. ...
One word of advice though ... don't nail the Amsterdam run too much .... they know you can't fit 4000 fags up your ricker but they will still hold you for 14 hours and have a good look on the hour every hour religiously!!
