Default Re: Phat Tunes - Rock/Nu-Metal

Ive been listening to a lot of heavy stuff latley

Heaven Shall Burn - Antigone (Hardcore metal from Europe, I think they are German)
Bleeding Through - This is Love, This is Murderous (Heavy hardcore from the US)
The Black Dahlia Murder - Unhallowed (death metal, similar to At The Gates)

Anyone know any UK music servers on Efnet? (sorry if I can't ask this mods)

Check out Breed 77's new album. Was only released on 3rd may so might have to hang around abit to download it but its damn good.

Also if you havent heard it yet check out The Mars Volta's album De-loused in the comatorium. That is musical excellence.

    Also
Thrice - The Artist in the ambulance
Funeral For A Friend - Casually Dressed and Deep In Conversation
    Both excellent

Try out the band "Drowning Pool", i'm very suprised they are unheard of in the UK.

A very good song of theirs is "Bodies" if you need a sample

The lead singer overdosed in the back of a van at download festival in 2003 or 2004 but they've got a new singer now, who incidentally looks just like the old one and sounds pretty similar.
