The red hot chili peppers new album looks set to be good. I have heard the single "By the way", and a song called "Cabron" on a live performance on Jonathan Ross.

    Sounding good!
Unfortunately I can't find this album for download anywhere, if anyone spots it, give me a PM or something!

I'm feeling the Chilli's they rock. What about Box Car Racer (2 guys form Blink 182 and some other dudes). Is there album up anywhere on MP3, more serious sound than Blink.

The Boxcar Racer album is okay, musically it is very different from the stuff that Blink182 do. The only similarity is that the singer sings in exactly the same way.

He could have tried to sing differently, but he doesn't. It sounds like one of those "bootleg" mixes of some indie band and Blink182! I reckon it doesn't sound quite right.

I know, but my crappy 56k connection won't download the complete zip file in one go and won't resume. Mp3 resumes so is easier.

Anyway it doesn't matter, I just keep on trying until I completely download each song. I can't wait for broadband to be available in this area!

i've been having some probs with impactmp3.net and mp3shit my self ,when ever i d/l a file it always gets to about 75% then resets and starts at 0% wiping out what it's just done instead of resuming.

i downloaded the netpumper software that also resumes,(you guys might wanna try it at www.netpumper.com lets you resume no messin from sites like mp3shits.com too).

    but its still reseting.

any ideas would be great and much appreciated.

    cheers.

The new Sonic Youth album is amazing, especially if you're having a shmoke

    Thats more alternative rock really...

Jerry Cantrell's new track is good... i've always been a big fan of him in Alice in Chains then his solo career, so may sway me a little.

    Default Dope or Deaf

Still not quite sure, No **** it, I understand plain english and very little else, Dope Or Deaf does not relate to "Phat".
A simple explanation of the term would be appreiated.

Footnote: I have'nt quite got round to learning the new speak, I will at some point but I would appreciate some help in the mean time.

    Thanks Ray
