Building an Ethernet Adapter

Yay, finally found a DC ($40 for a Black one) and now i'm burning and playing. One problem: got a network but the DC has a modem. I've looked around, and auction/sale sites seem to be the only ones that carry DC broadband adapters, with a heftier price tag then what they originally sold for. I've seen a few sites (http://homepages.compuserve.de/bITmA.../dc-index.html) that show homemade units; can anyone point me to similar sites, or have any suggestions aside from using the modem thru my PC?

good fuckin luck. if i were you i'd preorder one from ncsx, they're gonna manufacture more in japan i think
