matrix mod chip

i have tried everything to get the mod to work reflashed with programer twice used evox 2.3 to flash .
and followed the matrix developers kit to the letter .
most times the x box boots as normal as if mod isent there but the lights are functioning corectly with the mod in swap mode but once it booted and restarted twice and the ring around the eject button was flashing red and green am i loosing my mind or what
the next thing i am going to attempt is completly isolate the Do pick up the one pin by itself on the x box board with tape so there cant be a aligment problem and also sharpen the pin with a emery board that should do the trick also can someone tell me how to get Evoloution-x 1.8.3285 dashboard @Evox D.6 bios i simply cant find that software thankyou in advance KODOS .

OK, some questions...

1) Is the mod flashing correctly?

2) When your box starts up, what is the colour of LED on the board?

3) Are you in 'mode 2'?

4) Have you had a soldered mod in the machine before?

When you say the lights are working correctly, do you mean the one round the eject button, or on the chip?

Installing last night my box turned on and ignored the chip, and then on another attempt came up with the flashing red/green light on the xbox eject.

A quick clean of the points on the mother board,a bit of jiggling about, and it works fine now.
