Too busy keeping the chicks away from his bulging yet aching muscles
OK thanks for the email Guns, I will try it for sure.
Think I'll start next week, and let you know how I got on.
Hopefully I should see some more gains, after getting a little stale with my old workout!
Regards,
WTD
All I can say is Mentally Massive Deans Crazy Killa workout is not called so cause its for kids. It should have a goverment Health warning on it ! You will get tremendous gains, and not only for muscle mass but also for stamina. The technique was designed for athletes as well as body builders.
With regards to not taking anything and just training, this will work for some people but depeneding on what type of metabolism you have, I read there are 3 types (at least) of metabolisms, Ectomorphs, Endomorphs and Megamorphs (no pun on my name intended). I am and Ecto as I find it difficult to put either muscle weight or fat on so I find that supplements are a must, otherwise I just get skinnier, some people are Mega's (if they are lucky) this means they just seem to put muscle weight on no matter what shit they eat (as long as they continue to train) and most people seem to be Endo's which means you put both muscle and fat weight on easily (or in a lot of cases when not training, just fat, like gaining 3 lbs looking at a cream cake).
I tried Creatine but it gives me heatbeat misses and palpatations ocassionally, when I came of it they stopped, when I was loading up on it it was okay, this was after a few weeks on it, but I heard that it is not recommended if you have a history of asthma anyway, but havent heard any other side effects, long or short term, but I suppose that does not mean it wont have any.
.
Guns,
Can you send me a copy of that workout you're currently using please?
A couple of us were doing something similar to WTD's workout, at the moment we're working around alternating days of 5-7's, 8-10's & then 15's.
It's working alright but something new wouldn't go amiss!
Cheers
ill get it sent over to you

It's Mesomorph not Megamorph bro. However you are correct about the other two. They are called somatotypes and each person has aspects of all three in their makeup, with one or two in domination. It breaks down like this:there are 3 types (at least) of metabolisms, Ectomorphs, Endomorphs and Megamorphs
Ectomorphs are skinny and have trouble building muscle
Endomorphs can usually build muscle quite easily but carry a lot of bodyfat
Mesomorphs have an athletic build - they can gain muscle very easily and have quite low bodyfat.
Personally, I am an endo-mesomorph. I gain muscle very easily but also have a tendency to retain a lot of bodyfat.
I have been using creatine for over 2 yrs now powder form heaped tea spoon full half hour with juice before gym 4 days a week and never had any side effects at all i have a break off it every 12 weeks and rest up 1 week and start again no probs
used it a couple of times.not very effective.
sounds like you weren't using it right or you got some crap stuff..
did you complete the loading phase etc?
also did you get your diet sorted - protein powders etc? no point taking creatine then eating chips and burgers and having lots of beer - as I found out to my mistake
the first time i used creatine, it was the cheap stuff I never really felt any benefits, but i tried prolab stuff which was better but now I use the Ultimate Nutrition stuff - about 40 quid a tub but it's the best I've tried. You can really feel the difference.
I now stick to them for all my supplements where possible, you pay a bit more but it really is very good.
I'd hit a plateau then started using this stuff and the gains were amazing.
some people say it's psychological but I reckon that's bollocks.
yes i did complete the loading phase.i always follow a high protein diet.research done on creatine says its only effective for aboat 30% of people .i will try and find the web page with the info on.

bummer - i must be in that 30% then - my luck's usually the other way round so it's a turn up for the books.
let me know if you find that link, sounds like interesting reading.
wouldn't surprise me if the sports governing bodies start banning creatine soon - it's a bit daft but there was something in the papers a while back calling it the new controversial drug - stupid ain't it?
Would there be any chance of sending me a copy of your workout Guns? Just starting out, and not sure what I'm doing, so a decent routine would be a good start. Cheers, broona@bigfoot.com

Hi guys,
Only just seen this thread.
Used creatine ages ago...when training regularly @ my uni gym..
Isn;t creatine contained in meat?? Back then I didn't eat red meat so assumed creatin was essential for working out.
Yeah, you need loads of water with it..
Not aware of any side effects...It's naturually absorbed from red meat...all you're doing is increasing the dosage..
Think that's correct..
Hi Guns, could you also send me a copy of your workout plan to cirrus_maestro@hotmail.com
thanks.
hi guys
epherdrine is a appetite supressent and increases your heartbeat ideal for dietingnot building which is what creatine does you all have naturally occuring in your bodys about 2% ish creatine after the los=ading phase increases this to about 5% which is where the extra strength and energy and ability to recover comes from. I go on creatine for about 6 weeks then have a break because creatine dehydrates your body hence the sore kidneys and headaches, but if you drink plenty of water and take your creatine with warm water this will help. its good stuff and i dont think they`ve found any long term affects as of yet. I read a professos report that if you mix your creatine with juice you in fact only digest a waste product as it neutralizes the creatine, i found this out on a simple google creatine search
sorry about the long message
