the ps2 has already won, the only "battle" as such is between XB and GC and i think theyre both aimed at different markets so not directly comparable

I would agree with most of that however although the xbox is great for homebrew at the moment I still feel it will fall the way of the dreamcast Remember the dreamcast had its fair share of homebrew stuff but that didn,t save it from failure, but as it stands ps2 is racing away GC will have to have more games to compete, which i believe will take off big time when they do come, and XBOX i,m afraid has reached its peak and I dont think it will grow from now.

the DC homebrew scene only seemed 2 get going afta it had already failed I think

the PS2 has sold so many because alot of Parents already brought there kids the PS1 and when they wanted a new console (after a few years) they went and got the PS2 because parents (certanly mine and alot of others i know) only seem to understand Playstation - you say GameCube and they look puzzled - say XBox and they look distressed - however i think the cube is better - personally i think the graphics on the cube look better than the X-Box anyway
