    Default Resident Evil

I've never played the game so didn't know the story but knew what to expect:

Plot:A secret experiment. A deadly virus. And some good guys...

Okay, its formulatic and okay if you've played the games you'll know exactly what to expect - BUT it is a great film and combines nicely action and thriller with Horror Sci-Fi. Starring Milla Jovovich (starred in Fifth Element and Zoolander) the film aint to hard on the eye either .

Although its one of those films that's ending is obviously just setting up for the next one (Resident Evil 2: Nemesis apparently is scheduled to start film later this year). The special effects are great and there aren't too many other action films at the moment either.

    7/10

i really expected this to be a pile of shite but it was great.

it didn't try to be anything it wasn't and that's probably one of the things which made it seem so good. everyone i knew who saw this enjoyed it as well..

i'd have never given milla jovovich (don't know if that's right) a second look after 5th element but after seeing this realised she's well tasty.

it's just great to see films like this every now and then where they just get the guns out and kick ass.

plus luis amor rodriguez is in here which made me piss!!!

    looking forward to no. 2

I was expecting a very cheesy stupid sci-fi movie and was pleasantly surprised. This movie kicked ass! I enjoyed it more than Attack of the Clones and Spider-Man.

i was expecting it to be shite too, but i also thought it would be a lot more scary and gory.

its a good film, its got some good action but id prefer the games, they have so much atmosphere its unbelieveable

if ur a hardcore res evil fan then you prob wont enjoy as much as youd think, because you know the exact plot

This film was alot better than I expected,
    (which wasn't much).

Where did all those great Zombie films go.

Anyway I'll give it 7/10. Well worth watching.

excellent film - not 100% true to the game but has a pretty good story
and the effects were pretty cool - not too much CGI being used (except the licker)
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.
