    Which s/w are you using?

    visit :
    http://www.flash2advance.com

and download one of the following: (depending on what o/s u use)

    Flash2Advance Writer 1.3Win95/98/Me (30-09-2002)
    Flash2Advance Writer 1.3Win2000/NT (30-09-2002)

if you cant d/l them etc.. let me know i will post the files here.

    Start up the s/w.
make sure all the connectors are clean.
(the bit that plugs into the gba, the socket on the gba, the bottom of the cart and the cart holder. ( a simple blow should be enough to shift dust..)

then just hit the erase cart option and select full.
if it closes on 7sec try the quick option.
then try the full erase option again.

if all the above fails, try flashing a 128 mb image (assuming u have a 128mb cart).. it will erase the cart as it writes.

good luck and let us know.

Its my old GBA 64meg cart with the Flash Linker (the first one to come out).

I gave it to my brother when i got the new Flash2Advance and i think he put a zipped or a damaged rom on it.

I will have a go at trying to fix again using the method you have suggested
and let you know the outcome.

    Thanks for the help m8
