i saw a new goodmans portable dvd player. it plays dvd, mp3 and audio cd's. saw it in the sun the other day.

    A night at the drive-in
NOT so long ago, buying yourself a portable DVD player would leave your bank manager scowling like something from a horror movie.

Costing a good £1,000, they were a luxury you had to do without.

    Until now.

This Goodmans take-anywhere machine even doubles up as an in-car player and sports a large 5.6inch flip-up TFT screen.

There’s built-in shock protection for riding out those bumps, MP3 CD playback and twin headphone sockets.

And that makes it perfect for recreating the drive-in movie experience with a loved one.

Expect it on the high street later this year but until then it’s available from catalogue services like GUS, Littlewoods and Empire for a mouth-wateringly affordable £350.

yeah but index have been selling them for a while, sadly not only is it the size of a psone + screen, but its for in car use only, not much use as it has no batteries

I wonder if they will reinstate the 10% discount.....I want to buy GC!!!

Or even better 10% for Currys as there is no delivery charges if over £300.

Anyone for any codes for Sept yet? Biggy?
