    $ky are retards!!

    Just had it installed 2 weeks ago. Got a letter this morning saying they haven't received my contract yet. So I called. Got some dozy mare on the phone. She said they won't chase it up with the company who installed the equipment and that I should call them. I said, its your money you call them why should I.

    So they would rather cut me off than chase their money. $ky really know how to take care of their customers interests.

    Sorry rant over. Just wanted to share this experience with you all.

    that sounds a bit shitty m8, but i dont follow wot contract they r talkin about..is it the thing u sign when its installed or sumthing different.

    They do this all the time. My father in law got the same phone call. We couldn't get it through to the retard on the other end of the phone that they must have the contract as that was all that was sent to them and 48 hours later the card had arrived. They didn't have an answer as to how the card knew wich address to post itself to.

    (and I seem to have lost 200+ posts ???)

    Well, they get away with this sort of attitude `cause they know there's nothing else in this country. If you get cable they still get money from subs. I only got $ky `cause of all the channels I lost on seca....

    got to agree with you lads,wot a bunch of pen pushing retards they are.

    had nothin but hassle from for the last 2 weeks.

    wanted an extra box fitting witH 5.1 SOUND which the guy at sky says is no prob.(its not available unless you take sky plus)

    paid the £219 by debit card

    waited for engineer to come out and fit it.

    when guy comes out he says nope no box to give 5.1 have to pay for sky plus.

    gets on the phone and kicks off...so s*y agree to give me sky plus at no extra monthly subs, so long as I pay for the stb

    so £219 is now £350.

    ok you would tHINK i OWED THEM £131 WOULD'NT YOU............nop sky will refund the the £219 in 14 days and cancell the other order ,and debit me £350.

    ok let them do that cause my boy is doin my head in cause I made the mistake of tellin him he was gettin sky in his bedroom

    guy comes today to install and guess wot ..sky cocked up again......no second box to be installed only the new sky plus........more than my jobs worth to do the other box,so I chased him.

    rang sky up AGAIN .......yep its our fault we booked the job wrong,if you pay the £350 again we can rebook the install but there is another £25 to relocate the second box.

    so all told they have £219 for the first cockup,then £350..........and now they want another £375 and they will recredit me in 14 days for the first 2 cockup of £569...

    told them to shuv all the sky packages I have with em up there asses

    Try this then...
    My ex kicked me out 4 months into a new sky contract, so not being able to watch my sky I cancelled the direct debit....
    2 months later the ring me up on my cellphone (courtesly supplied to them by my ex - bless her), and start demanding money....
    My words... Sue me! She's trying to f**k me for over 100 grand, and you want me to worry about £200??? Have a word with yourself!
    They said... 1 moment sir...
    Next thing I am put through to the centre manager, and after explaining the situation the contract was recinded.
    Apparently (and this is word of mouth here) A Sky Engineer came round a few days later and took the STB back as well..
    So they are not total imbiciles... just 99% of them
    I think that you just have to talk to someone who can actually make a decision.

    Know the feeling
    I have a sky plus box, fitted myself, and then got em to change over the card to my new sky+ box.
    So far so good.
    BUT they can't switch on the sky plus service, cos I live in Ireland,and sky+ isn't available to Ireland yet and the retard on the phone told me 10 times that sky+ boxes may be soon on sale here in Ireland.

    Default the best way to **** $ky

    Simple get a good receiver off of ebay, local friendly dealer.... Now since your a TV LISC. FEE payer call up the sky number that deals with FREE BBC VIEWING CARDS. Wait 5 days a voila all the bbc channels and a lot more around 20+
    all there for ZIPPO...costs...nothing...

    oh and you have to call them again only once more to mate the card with the box and activate it....2-24 hours....

    Mine has been all over the EU and back....and I NEVER TALK TO THOSE LOSERS AGAIN.....

    EVERYONE IS ENTITLED to a FREE BBC VIEWING CARD in a deal worked out with the beeb and sky....
